Cedar Essential Oil

Cedar's aroma has a warm top note and sweet, woody balsamic undertone. It is recognized for its calming, purifying effects, and its benefits to the skin and underlying tissue. Likely related to its use as a spiritually-grounding scent, the oil may stimulate the pineal gland which releases melatonin (a regulator of sleep and dreams) as well as growth hormone. The limbic system (center of emotions) is also stimulated by the high sesquiterpene content. Cedarwood is used as a temple incense by Tibetan Buddhists.

It promotes clarity of mind and invokes the presence and teachings of the Divine."

Our pure Cedar Essential Oil comes in a 10 ml bottle with a dropper insert.  Apply diluted in a carrier oil topically or use in one of our diffusers. Blends nicely with other wood or needle oils to create a warm, positive atmosphere.

Our line of pure essential and fragrance oils are made in Elora, Ontario by a small, family run company. The Essential Oil line is 100% pure without any additives or dilution. The Fragrance Oil line is named as such due to the addition of Jojoba or Almond Oil as a base carrier. This is done in an effort to keep costs down or because the oil without dilution would be a thick tar like mass. It is recommended that anybody with a nut allergy should stay away from this line as a precaution. Rest assured that there are not any carcinogens or synthetics in this line.
