Ylang Ylangi Essential Oil

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil will provide a calming and positive environment with its sweet, rich and spicy scent. Ylang Ylang essential oil is derived from the star-shaped flowers of the tropical Ylang Ylang tree and is used extensively in making perfumes and in aromatherapy. Similar to Jasmine, Ylang Ylang has been used for centuries in religious and wedding ceremonies.

In aromatherapy, Ylang Ylang oil is used to lessen tension and stress and to promote a positive outlook. Ylang Ylang oil is frequently used in luxurious hair and skin products for its scent and nourishing and protective properties. Ylang Ylang essential oil blends well with Bergamot, Geranium, and Grapefruit.

Uses

• Put Ylang Ylang oil into an Epsom Salt bath for relaxation.
• Refresh your skin with an aromatherapy steam facial using Ylang Ylang essential oil.
• Put on your wrists for a sweet, floral perfume.
• Add Ylang Ylang to Fractionated Coconut Oil for a deep hair conditioner.

Our pure Ylang Ylang Essential Oil comes in a 10 ml bottle with a dropper insert. Apply diluted in a carrier oil topically or use in one of our diffusers. Blends nicely with other wood or needle oils to create a warm, positive atmosphere.

Ylang ylang can cause skin sensitivity as it contains allergens like isoeugenol. To avoid any adverse reactions, always mix it with a carrier oil and patch test before using on a large area of your skin. Additionally, be aware that ylang ylang is harmful to pets and should not be applied to their skin, paws, or coat. Take care not to use it in an area where your pet may lick or inhale it.

Our line of pure essential and fragrance oils are made in Elora, Ontario by a small, family run company. The Essential Oil line is 100% pure without any additives or dilution. The Fragrance Oil line is named as such due to the addition of Jojoba or Almond Oil as a base carrier. This is done in an effort to keep costs down or because the oil without dilution would be a thick tar like mass. It is recommended that anybody with a nut allergy should stay away from this line as a precaution. Rest assured that there are not any carcinogens or synthetics in this line.
